Call for paper.
The annual conference of doctoral students will be held for the second time on Saturday the 25th of May. The conference will have the same form as the one last year which was successful. We hereby are calling for papers, both single presentations and whole sessions. The Deadline is Wednesday the 17th of April at 11.59 pm. Papers will be accepted in both English and Icelandic. All applications will be reviewed.
There will be a possibility to have a full presentation (20 minutes) but also short one (10 minutes) which are particularly aimed at students in their earliest stages of research, still shaping their research questions. Please state whether the preferred length of presentations. Applications for single presentations shall include the following:
- Abstract, max 300 words
- A short bio.

Applications for a whole session (assumingly with three presentations) shall include the following:
- Title of session
- Name of the session’s contact person or supervisor
- Title of presentations
- Abstract for the session, including each presentation, max 1000 word.
- Short bio of all participants.

Toby Erik Wikström, a specialist at the Institute of Humanities and employee at the graduate centre will give a detailed version of everything you need to know about giving presentations at an academic conference.
